Opinions:  Some people are of the opinion that The Hulk (2003) wasn't that great a movie. You have to take it in context with the bigger picture...and honestly have some interest in comics, even if your interest was 20+ years ago. I didn't exactly like the Ang Lee movie, but I didn't hate it either. This movie on the other hand, The Incredible Hulk (2008), is something entirely different and refreshing in my opinion. The first one was done (like the first X-Men) just to see if it could be done, and done well. Obviously not everyone could understand it...probably because it was a comic book adaption. So if Ang Lee's movie was based on the comic book past and present, then Louis Leterrier version is solely based on the tv series (with the comic book thrown in for good measure).

You will not be disappointed with this movie in the slightest. It has drama, it has romance, it has excitement, and even a bit of comedy. And yes YES, it even has GREEN men. Rather large green men in fact. A counterpart pointed out that the movie started off slow - but point in fact most of them do start out slow - we're waiting for the Hulk after all. But once the action starts it doesn't stop right until the very end. Even the pauses...don't slow the movie down in the slightest. My biggest problem with the movie was the arm chair cowgirls who where a few seats behind me totally bashing the movie (I couldn't tell if the one had actually seen it or just read comments and reviews on rotten tomatoes or something). I realize that some things are hard to take (like trying to sit through Adam Sandler's movie) in a movie, but I have a real problem with those who are loud and obnoxious and don't care who hears.

Some people actually still go to a movie to be entertained. If you want to bash a movie, loud, and annoying to the other patrons...do so in the comfort of your own home where you can be as loud as you want. Now that I have that out of my system...I highly recommend seeing this movie in the theater. Just be sure that you don't have the hyena twins right behind you do. 4 out of 5 stars.
